A tour has been booked to celebrate the Club's 40th Anniversary next year.
It will take place from Sunday May 16th to Thursday May 20th 2027 inclusive, in Worcester, staying at the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel with 4 games of Bowls to be arranged.
The cost is £549 pp sharing a twin or double room, with an £80 supplement for single room, based on a minimum take up of 30 with full coach travel to and from Marldon.
A Deposit of £50 is required now, payable to MBC with the narrative 'Tour 27'. Deposit will be returned if we have insufficient interest by early November when we have to pay Tour Company, after that date deposits cannot be returned.
The club and green maintenance sessions continue every Tuesday, 9am-12am (even in Winter!)

Phil Toms, from Plymouth Retired Civil Servants BC has arranged a tour to the Isle of Wight and has invited Marldon Bowlers to join them on the tour. About 18 Marldon bowlers have taken up this invitation, but there may be a few spaces left. You will need to become an associate Member of Plymouth RCS BC at a cost of £10 to cover insurance, added to the cost of the tour which takes place from August 25th to 29th 2026. The Teignmouth tournament will run from Sept 6 to Sept 12 and details and an entry from are available below.
Marldon will be hosting this event today.
Marldon will be hosting the over 55 Finals day on Wednesday September 16th.The top teams from each of the four divisions will be involved, contesting two semi finals in the Morning with an afternoon game between winning semi-finalists to resolve who is the Overall winner of the Over 55 season.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on the above date at the Village Hall.
A number of the current committee will not be standing for re-election. if we want a functional club next season we need volunteers to take on these roles. Please consider what you could do to help the club.
We are in need of new players please for the Shortmat Bowls season, please contact Gordon or Carole to find out more.
The Short Mat Bowls Season will re-commence in September 2026at the Village Hall.
These are friendly games open to all members, the cost is £2:50 a session.
The Shortmat league in the club starts on (TBA) for the selected players.

Gordon has agreed to open the clubhouse from 2pm on dates of league games so that
shortmat league players may have a practice session in the clubhouse in the afternoon, before the league game starts in the evening.
At the Paignton Club, The Esplanade, Paignton. Hosted by Keith and Sue Hollings,
£30 per person. Payment is now due, either by BACS to club account or cash to Keith Hollings, who is at club on a Tuesday morning.
6:30 for a 7pm start. Food served 7:30
