Latest News: A big thank you to Alex & Shaun for last Sundays coaching session. Our final coaching session of the outdoor season is this coming Sunday 30th August. All are welcome to come along. The session starts at 10 am so please be there by 9.45am. We look forward to seeing you there.
We have enjoyed a successful season of coaching at Marldon.
Providing the opportunity for many people to "Try Bowls". We've held beginners and improvers sessions including a number of sessions for both our Womens A & B teams.
As a result several people have joined our club as players including a number of juniors which we are delighted about.
We are also very delighted to welcome Alex Green to our team having qualified as a level 1 coach during the season. If anyone else is interested in taking a Coach Bowls course please come and have chat with me.
Coaching continues on Sunday 23rd August under the guidance of Alex, then Sunday 30th August myself and Kay will be back for our last Sunday session this season. Both starting at 10am.
Our clubs team of coaches will be getting together during September to discuss this seasons coaching plus our plans for next season which should include a session on marking and measuring skills. If you would like any aspects of coaching to be considered please let me know.

Here at Marldon Maple Leaf Bowling Club we welcome those looking to take up the sport of Lawn Bowls or those that already play and may be experienced players.
All are very welcome irrespective of age or ability.
Beginners coaching is held throughout the outdoor season on most Sunday mornings from 10am to 12 noon.
We also arrange improver sessions as and when requested. So please come along - You will be made most welcome!
