August 15th v TCBC (Away)
Ros, Dave F and John M fell behind but won ends 6 to 9 to take a 7 shot lead,. Opponents only managed to recover 2 shots and Marldon won 21-16.
Alan R, Dave A and Mandi raced into a 10-0 lead before opponents scored and won 18-11
Sue M, Dave M and Craig took an early 10-4 lead but opponents fought back to even scores at 13 all by the 14th end. A good finish from Marldon saw them take
the points with a 21-16 win.
June 8th - v Torquay (Away)
Sue Childs, John Morgan and Pam Hills were slow starters today and were 0- 13 down at 8 ends, They did
have the better of the second part of game but the gap was too large and they could only reduce it to 5 shots, losing 11-16.
Dave Flook, Mandi Read and Theresa Cornelius build up a 17-5 lead by the 11th end but the opponents almost caught up by winning all but one of the
remaining ends. Marldon's early lead was enough to see them through for a 19-16 win.
Craig Ayres, Pat Edwards and Maureen Heath scored a 5 on the first end and a 4 on the third, but the opposition replied strongly with 2 4's a 2 and a
1 to take a 12 -9 lead. They further increased their lead to 17-10 but the Marldon trio kept trying, eventually losing by just one shot 18-19.
Overall Score Torquay 51 - Marldon 48.
June 5th - Re-arranged fixture v Brixham St Mary.(Away)
Dave Flook, Mandi Read and Craig Ayres started slowly and were 6 - 0 down after 5 ends. Marldon then outscored
Brixham for rest of the game but were unable to make up the deficit and lost 11-13
Dave Moorghen, Ray Wyborn and Pat Edwards started with a 4 but were then in a close game where lead kept changing hands,
dropping a 6 on the 8th end only to score one themselves on the 13th end. A 4 for Marldon on the 16th end was eventually the deciding factor as
Marldon won 23-21.
Maria Ayres, John Morgan and Pam Hills raced into an 11-0 lead after 6 ends and despite their opponents winning 8 of the 12 remaining ends,
managed the game to win by 6 shots, 19-13.

This game had to be abandoned due to torrential rain and has now been rescheduled for Monday June 5th.
July 27th - Good win for the RMTL B team against Torquay in drizzly conditions.
Karen, Chris and les made a good start to be 7-0 up after 3 ends and added another two to the lead as they finished 19-10
Dave, Pat and John Gilbert had more trouble, only scoring 2 shots on one of the first ten ends, eventually losing 8-20
Anne, Trish and Terry had an 8 shot lead after 6 ends and continued to win ends to finish at 20-9.
Overall result Marldon 47- Torquay 39. League Points Marldon 8 Torquay 2.
