Membership currently stands at around 90 men and lady playing members, with a further dozen or so social members.
We are always pleased to see new members, whether new to bowls or experienced players. We also welcome non-playing members as we do have a social side to our club, particularly in the winter. Full Members can also play during the Winter in leagues and friendlies at Torbay Leisure Hotels, and friendlies at Torquay United and TBIC Oldway. We also have Shortmat sessions each Wednesday afternoon from October to April in Marldon Village Hall.
We are fortunate that the the Club has a number male and female Coaches and we are, therefore, able to offer qualified coaching to new bowlers and anyone who feels their game would benefit from some expert advice
We pride ourselves that all Club Members actively support the Club by carrying out the necessary day to day tasks including green duties, the all important refreshments after 10 ends, and the even more important manning of the Bar!
We are entirely self funding and certain members take responsibility for providing a perfect surface for bowling on, others use their skills to ensure our Club is maintained and run to a high standard.
